SUM-Seires are measurements softwares for low loss dielectric materials in micarowave and millimeter wave regions. These softwares can be measured complex permittivity (relative permittivity er , loss tangent tand ) of low loss dielectric materials or surface resistance Rs of metal conductor plates and high Tc superconductor plates, accurately. They can be measured temperature dependecies automatically by controlling network analyzer. Moreover, they are developed based on the mesurement methods with the rigorous analysis which was established International Electrical Comittie IEC and Japanese Industrial Standard JIS.
This method, which was established JIS R1660-1 in 2004, was developed to measure complex permittivity of low loss dielectirc plate for horizontal plane in millimeter wave region (30-100GHz).
This method, which was established JIS R1621 in 2002, was developed to measure complex permittivity of low loss dielectirc plate for horizontal plane in microwave region (2-40GHz).
SUM-ROD (Two Dielectric Resonator Method) - JIS R1627, IEC61788-7, IEC61788-7-

This method, which was established JIS R1627 in 1996 and also IEC611338-1-3 in 1999, was developed to measure complex permittivity of low loss dielectirc rod in microwave region (2-30GHz).
